YOUR STAY IN HEEG
Heeg (or Heech as its pronounced in Friesland) is the mecca for water sports fans. This bustling village regularly hosts large and small events on both the water and land, and is the perfect location for families and adults alike. After a long day sailing come enjoy a walk around the quaint town centre, and grab a bite to eat at one of the lovely waterside restaurants. Heeg is located on the northern shore of the Heegermeer, approximately 10 kilometers from Sneek. From here, all waterways in the Frisian lake area are quickly and easily accessible.
OUR VILLA
Our Villa is situated near the end of a closed street, on an outcrop of land surrounded by water. This beautiful position is very peaceful with very little traffic. For more information about the inside and outside of our villa click here.

Culture & Events
Heeg is not only famous for its water sports but also has many fun and entertaining events throughout the Spring/Summer. Heechspanning interactive street theatre is held on Ascension Day. Famous locally, on this day the village becomes one big party, bursting with street theatre, dance and music. The Heechersimmerfestival (summer festival) is also not to be missed.
Watersports
Heeg is the center for water sports. Local sailing schools offer courses for adults and children and there are many options for boat, and water sport rental. Dining out
